Fun Fact of the month. A fun fact for Thanksgiving is that the first Thanksgiving feast in 1621 lasted for three days! This celebration was attended by the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag tribe and included a variety of foods. While turkey is often the star of modern Thanksgiving dinners, the menu back then likely featured venison, seafood, fowl (which could have included wild turkeys), corn, and other seasonal fruits and vegetables. The three-day celebration was more of a harvest festival than the single meal we typically think of today!
